When I have bacterical infections, I have been treated with anti-biotica. However, over the past few years I notice that overall I am susceptible to throat problems. I am a teacher and storyteller so this is becoming quite a problem. I don't smoke or do things which would obviously irritate my throat.

Whenever we get a sore throat, we find that gargling with a cup of sage tea is the easiest and best cure yet.:)

The best and easiest treatment for sore throats that I have found is to mix powdered slippery elm root with honey and just enough warm water to make a paste. Eat it whenever you need it. It tastes good and works wonders.
