I'm curious. How do you bottle up exercise?

If you walk up a long hill without eating or drinking you will lose weight. And your energy will be increased too - 'cept it'll only be potential energy. (BTW watch out for dog doodoo if you roly-poly back down).

[If you can't resist food and/or sweets, help your liver. That'll help you lose some weight.]

[Actually, if you have really tried to lose weight (ie. more exercise and less food - and be honest here, you're only fooling yourself), and have not managed to do so, and you have some of these signs: hairloss, cushion of fat at the nape of your neck, always tired, swollen glands on your collarbones, no singing voice, fatty upper arms - then you might have an underactive thyroid. The usual herb offered for that would be kelp, but that only works if you don't use iodized salts, becuase kelp only helps by adding iodine. And we have plenty of that, these days. A better choice would be Berberis (or Mahonia) and gotu kola (not kola nut). And go see your local herbalist, too.]
