Lithraea. Lithraea venenosa Miers. (Fam. Anacardiaceae).—The leaves of this Chilian plant are said to act upon the skin in a manner similar to Rhus toxicodendron, and to contain a resin and an ethereal oil. The tincture of the fresh leaves has been used as a counter-irritant.
