Macerate the gentian, rhubarb, ginger, and sodium bicarbonate in 100 (20 fluid ounces) of peppermint water for twenty-four hours; then press out the liquor, strain, and pour sufficient peppermint water through the strainer to make up the required volume.
Dose.—15 to 30 mils (½ to 1 fluid ounce).
