Dissolve the phenol in the mixed oils.
This oil is used to lubricate catheters.

AROMATIC CASTOR OIL.
Amyl Acetate | 0.10 | | | 10 minims |
Gluside | 0.23 | | | 20 grains |
Absolute Alcohol | 5.00 | | | 1 fl. ounce |
Castor Oil | to 100.00 | | | to 20 fl. ounces |
Mix the amyl acetate and the gluside with the alcohol, and set aside until a clear solution is obtained, then add the castor oil. This preparation should be stored in filled and well-closed bottles.
Dose.—4 to 30 mils (I to 8 fluid drachms).
